You can access an occasion by tapping on it in the scheduler.
Occasions are elements to structure your interactions with the people you meet or communicate, and you can also use them to create future reminders and appointments.
From here you can view and add interactions, set notifications or change and delete the occasion. There are also the options to rate and mark.
Single occasions are for one time events, meetups or calls etc.
Recurring occasions are for repeating events, meetings, duties etc. and can have a white variety of repeating pattern.
This benefit become especially visible for recurring occasions. While ContactShip creates only one occasion and calculates it’s repetitions in the scheduler, the interactions with the contacts are saved as one data entry per interaction and they run in a separate time dimensions. Therefore an interaction can starte before and stop after an occasion or an interaction can stop during an occasion. This offers a huge flexibility.
While other apps make it difficult to keep the overview ContactShip offers different dimension to structure the data. Rating is a very important part of it. You can rate how you like the occasion, you can also include a rating per interaction with the people you meet during the occasion and you can rate the persons overall.
