You can access the list and groups view by tapping on “Lists & Groups” in the main menu. From here you can create new lists or groups or you can search and open them.
Lists and groups are elements that you can use to organize your contacts into selections of people.
ContactShip App offers you two possibilities to organize selections of contacts: Groups and lists.
In contrast to groups, lists memberships are calculated by the ContactShip App automatically. You don’t decide which contact is inside a specific list but you define which criteria persons need to meet to be included. You define the criteria while creating a list and you can change it later on. If you are a free user you can define list criteria about basic details, as a premium user you can use all data sections.

Standard address books and personal CRM solutions don’t allow you to define your own lists of contacts. They usually come with a fixed set of lists (or none at all) and that’s it. If you want to pick people by certain criteria you need to find them in your data base and you have to assign them to a group manually. And you will need to update your group afterwards manually as well.
With ContactShip App this is different! You just define your own lists and they will do the rest automatically.
The standard apps which offer groups at all allow you to assign your contacts to groups but that’s it. There is no option to include further details or descriptions.
ContactShip App provides you with additional possibilities. When you add a person to a group you can define the role for the group. This makes it easier to get a overview of the structure of a group and especially about the importance of a person for the group. You can even rate and mark this roles. If you are a premium user you can also use this information to create lists.
